Chhattisgarh college of education was started in year 2017 counselling is conducted by scert in Durg, Chattisgarh.The mission of the college is to promote the intellectual development of students by teaching them problem – solving, leadership and teamwork skills. It offers Undergraduate program in 2 streams and admissions will be made through counseling which will be conducted by the Department of Education, Government of Chhattisgarh on the basis of CGPET or JEE scores.
B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. are two year degree course, Which can we pursued only after successful completing graduation from a recognize university for B.Ed. and completing higher secondary for D.El.Ed. course. The courses enables the students to opt for a promising career in the field of teaching. Student are impart practical teaching (they are assigned the job of trainee teachers in different schools) at the some time, given theory knowledge in the field of teaching. For the courses, candidates are selected on the basis of performance in Pre B.Ed. and Pre D.El.Ed. Entrance Test conducted by CG VYAPAM in the month of may june followed by allotment of seats as per online counseling conducted by CG - SCERT.
